The ambience and the environment is the most calming and peaceful.

This place is heaven. It is peaceful, quiet and beautiful. The bedrooms are super clean and comfortable, the food is really good and Ram and his family go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is perfect. You can really feel the love in this place.

There is lots of places where u can find peace but that that place is look like a valley

The owner of the Property Mr Ram was a great person.

Rooms are very less in numbers. I suggest they need to add more cottages.

Everything was wonderful. Shiv Shakti is located in the most peaceful part of Rishikesh, in the middle of a forest and a few steps away from the waterfalls. Ram is such a friendly and helpful host who takes care of everything. As of the food, it is very tasteful and of high hygiene standards. I am only looking forward to return to Shiv Shakti:)

The owners and staff are amazing. They make you feel at home and do their best to address any concerns that you have. The food is delicious and has a home cooked feeling to it. The location is picturesque and the premises are tidy and well kept. I was looking for a quiet retreat with my parents in their 70's and this place provided us that. We got the cottage at the back of the property which was even more secluded. Sitting on the patio, sipping tea, was our favorite pastime. The yoga and meditation classes are for seasoned practitioners, not novices like us. The yoga trainer Bala's chanting has a mesmerizing effect. In all, it was a great experience.

We didn't realize how hot Rishikesh could get in mid July. Luckily it rained for a couple of days which cooled it down. The staff provided us with a table fan which helped a lot. I would suggest planning a visit in winter/spring time. Also the road from Tapovan to this place is rocky and low clearance cars like sedans should be avoided. When arranging a pick up, insist to be picked from Tapovan. They asked us to come midway up the road and our taxi driver was almost ready to quit and take us back.

I loved the location, the surroundings and the pool. The staff were really nice and the food too.

The room was a bit dump, but comfortable.
