Asari Timo Cottage

The host was very friendly and cooked delicious meals. They gave us good information about local beaches and nature walking trails. We had great fun in the evenings playing cards with the family.

The family at Asari are amazing, such lovely people! They food they prepared for us was out of this world! Such tasty affordable meals and a really good variety and quantity. So glad we came here. The property is rustic and out of the way, just as we like.

Location, view, quietly, food, no tourist. A perfect place to unplug from day to day.

No pressure in the shower. Missing mosquito net on the second bed.

If you’re looking for a basic, remote, quiet and friendly place by the sea - this is a very good choice! The wooden huts are basic but comfortable. The family is very friendly and the cooking is authentic and delicious!

Be aware, there is no WiFi and also hardly any phone reception. Good for a digital detox! ;) The bathroom is very basic and could use some renovation.

Scenery. Some local retail outlets are close by.

Exorbitant cost of meals

The owners are very nice and hospitable. They arranged for us a motorbike rent and a boat trip to nerby island. The food prepared was very tasty. They provided a mosquito net on request, because it was missing in one of the cottages, which was a nice gesture.

The cottages are very old and worn out. Bathrooms are very basic and dirty. The beach is nice but sea is very very shallow and it is not possible to swim anywhere nearby.
