Three Rivers Lodge

Lovely place , overlooking lake , not far from centre. Loved Mimi ( cat ) company .

De ligging was centraal en we hadden een fijn ontvangst met een vriendelijke gastheer.

Er was veel geluid op het dak gedurende de hele nacht, geen idee wat het was maar een tikkend geluid wat niet prettig was. Ook was er weinig frisse lucht in de kamer, het was een beetje stoffig en vanwege de insecten kon je niet de deur open zetten.

Three Rivers Lodge offers lovely accommodation overlooking the lake. We were upgraded to a lakeview queen room - thank you for this. The room was super clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

we had terrible communication with the guy who ran this place Our payment was only guaranteed on Booking.com and was not going be taken out of my card until I arrived at the property. We upgraded our credit cards and didn't bother upgrading it on Booking.com because it was 'pay at the property' so I could use whatever I wanted to when I paid. I had self check in and they gave us a code to the lock box. We got in fine. The guy said that Booking.com would not collect the payment for them so they would be around later in the afternoon to pick up our payment. He said he would have eftpos on his phone They hadn't arrived by 6pm so we went down to get dinner and came back. Still nothing by 8 pm so I sent a message on Booking.com and asked if they were going to come soon because we wanted to go to bed - no reply I got a message at 10:07pm to say my payment had not gone through (which it wouldn't have because it was the wrong card) and then 10:10pm we had a knock at our door so my husband answered the door and it was the guy who owned the accommodation wanting to do payment. I told him it was ridiculous. It was too late and it was rude that he was turning up at our door to collect payment at that time of night, after 10 o'clock at night. His response was 'but I was out of town till late' Firstly, he lied to us and said that Booking.com would not collect the payment on his behalf and he had to come and get it himself. Then he tried to collect the payment through booking.com because it was so late and it didn't go through so he came knocking on our door!! I've since read other reviews where he had cancelled bookings on the day people are suppose to arrive gardens do not look like the photos. weeds everywhere
