Great location, beaches all within walking distance. Pub 2 minutes up the road

Lovely little cottage and owners were very helpful. Slight downside was small outside toilet (would have been more of an issue in cold weather) however shower was lovely and hot! :)

Absolutely loved The Bakehouse. Cute and quirky and perfect for our weekend away. Very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Great location. Village pub couple minutes walk away and food lovely. Loved the beaches and surrounding area. Host always very helpful and quick to respond. Would love to visit again! Thank you for letting us stay

Super cosy base to explore The Gower! It was brilliant to be able to come back after a day of walking/surfing and build a cosy fire with the provided kindling and logs. And to top it all off, we had a delicious cooked breakfast from the Hosts- Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect location for me to enjoy the beach and walking in the hills. I liked the privacy of having a self contained unit. This also allowed me to cook if I wanted or use the local pub for meals.

My only issue is because I'm only 5ft 7 it was a struggle to reach some of the pots and pans.

Well equipped, private, cosy, lovely outdoor space. Owners very friendly.

Bathroom was immaculate and the shower was great. Not a problem going outside as it’s covered and astroturf under foot. 15 mins walk from the beach. Log fire was a boon when we were soaked to the skin after a walk.

The bed was thin, lumpy, too small. There was no way enough head room and the beam effectively made it a large single. We slept on the sofa bed. It wasn’t clean up there. No milk, tea bags , bread etc on arrival. Having driven about 200 miles to get there it was so depressing to drive 30 mins back towards Swansea to buy simple provisions. Perhaps a warning that there’s nothing like that supplied would be handy as there are no shops in Llamgennith. Or might be an idea to leave a small jug of milk and a few tea bags, small loaf. We’ve stayed at a lot of places and never had nothing in the way of a welcome pack. The Bale House shares a porch with the b and b so there was much coming and going noise. A couple of times visitors to the b and b knocked at out door which was alarming. We should have bolted the gate!

This is a characterful compact place to stay with the bed on a mezzanine floor, which is fun. The living space is all open plan with everything you need, which is compact and comfortable. A great outside courtyard garden space with decking being a sun trap. The outside loo and shower have a covered walkway to get to which is a handful of steps away. It’s really well thought out and compact place with bags of character. Perfect for dogs too.

Tricky crawling in and out of the bed on the mezzanine floor. Okay to do for a couple of nights but not for a long stay, although it does depend on your age group….
