Clean and friendly and close to holiday world

It was close to other places we wanted to visit.

When we entered our room #109, the air conditioning was on. I turned off the air conditioning and turned on the heat. There was this terrible smell once I changed to heat. Then the smoke detector started beeping. I told the staff at the front desk. She immediately came to our room. She said it was probably since the heat had never been turned on. She called the manager & he said the same. I disagreed and advised we were not going to stay in this room and we wanted a room close to the exit door. She graciously showed me 2 other rooms and we turned on the heat and there was no smell. So there was definitely something wrong with the unit in room 109. As a result, we did not sleep well as we were worried about a potential fire.

I didn’t like how they weren’t keeping up the property!

Nothing to really recommend it

It was noisy (could hear walking upstairs, people in other non-adjacent rooms), rear parking lot not well marked for nighttime arrivals, shower/bath tub floor was so dirty I decided not to even take a shower.

room was clean and spacious bed was comfortable

everything was great
