Gorgeous outlook, delicious food in tavern and lots to do. Very family oriented. Also loved that we could take our dog and he was allowed to sleep in the cabin with us.

Cabin walls very thin so could hear all that was going on next door.

The shared kitchen was inadequate for the number of guests. Bbqs were low on gas, clean and dry tea towels were not readily available but the biggest issue for our family was enormous television screens in shared areas. We head away to a bush location with family to enjoy outdoor spaces and connect with one another. The TVs took away from that and made the shared spaces unenjoyable and noisy.

This place is essentially a school camp facility. There are dorm rooms with 6 bunks. The beds were clean and comfortable. There is a shared quite well equipped kitchen which was clean. You will need to self cater as the Tavern only opens Friday and Saturday

The Booking.com information suggests that the Tavern is always operating. It in fact only opens Friday and Saturdays. Closest food option is Dover RSL. There is only 1 male and 1 female bathroom with two toilets and showers which apparently is for 10 x 6 bed dorms. The female bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned for days. We were provided with one towel for a 6 bed dorm/family room. We were a group of 3. While our room was clean, the bin had an empty UDL can in it. There was no key left for us and the mobile numbers we rang on arrival were not answered. When the owner/manager appeared he was not friendly and it was clear that he didnt care if we stayed or not. If it had not been late in the day, we would definitely have gone elsewhere.

Great family cabin stay in stunning location. Cozy camp kitchen with great amenities. The tavern has great food too
