River Run Lodge

It is in a relaxed, waterfront location. Very quiet but only a quick drive to the shops and cafes in Dover. The cabins and toilet/shower facilities are clean and modern. The beds are comfortable. The tavern offers drinks and dinner, which you can enjoy outside with prime water views. Guests can use the kayaks, and it is a great location to explore the southeast of Hobart including Hartz Mountains, Hastings Caves, and the wineries of Huon Valley. And it's very easy on the budget.

Wonderful setting and the communal areas were tastefully and beautifully fitted out. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere.

Location was good for where we were going. Nice areas to relax with fire etc. good kitchen facilities.

The place wasn’t clean in places and didn’t seem to be getting cleaned regularly - for example the kitchen, bathrooms, bins overflowing. Didn’t see any staff around the site during the day keeping the place tidy. Meals were very expensive for the quality of the food.

Continental breakfast a bit scarce and no tea bags but still an awesome kitchen area with plenty of seating and tv with Netflix
