Bristol Cabins

I liked the surroundings. The location was good. Fun cabin. The community bathroom was very warm.....almost spent the night in the girls bathroom to keep warm.

The cabin (Sewing Cabin) furnace did not work and it was a very cold night. When letting the staff know the following day, they said they were aware and that there was a space heater under the bed. It would have been nice to have known before freezing through the night. Didnt sleep well and actually left before breakfast. There are clear helpful instruction notes left to help you check in, find the bathroom, even a note on how to start the furnace in the cabin.....but nothing to indicate that the furnace wasnt working at the time and to find a space heater under the bed! They could have mentioned this situation when I talked with someone the day before and was given an option of choosing out of two cabins. Very disappointed. Feel like I overpaid, was misled, and that the situation was not handled in a customer service manner. I felt the attitude was Oh Well guess you should have known to look under the bed! Disappointing because the idea of the cabin stay I didnt realize I needed to pack a Little House On The Prairie night cap and gown to be warm. And missed a good breakfast from what others have told about their experience.

Beautiful location! amazing history. lovely hiking, unique and warm energy. sacred attention to detail. lovely staff, authentic and deeply centered into pacha mama. wonderful conversation and kind people.

i loved it! maybe bathroom checked on daily as multi use by cabins. loved the breakfasts and maybe a little variety as had the same yummy breakfast every day. no complaints at all! variety does add a yum factor. 😁

we didn’t realize the bathroom/kitchen were not in the room. they were a short walk from the room. our fault for not reading the details
