Secret River Side Safari Lodge

exceptionally friendly people and amazing food. the room is small, but clean and has everything you need. the garden and river make it super peaceful and its very calm to sleep. cannot believe we had all this for the price. thank you so much for the hospitality!

Our favourite place we stayed in all of Sri Lanka! Hosted by such a kind, generous and friendly family who cooked us the best food of our trip, showed us the best spots to swim in the river and they provided us with fresh coconuts we saw coming off the tree right in the garden! They also arranged a safari for us which was extremely helpful and we got to see plenty of elephants! We couldn't recommend it enough and we wish we had had a few more days to spend there! We're hoping to go back one day!

The host family was really nice and kind. The river right in front of the accomodation was also good option to swim when it is hot. Dinner and breakfast were also tasty and good. Host family also organized safari for us.

This lodge is located near by very nice river.the staff and owner also friendly and helpfull.they arranged amazing breakfast for us.and also they arranged marvelous safari.we were enjoyed our day in this place.highly recommend

The stay was amazing, staff very accommodating and the food was lovely. Also got to watch a family of monkeys in the garden

The hosts are really nice and helpful. They organized our safari for us and drove us to our next destination. The garden is stunning and the breakfast ist generous and delicious.

In the app it said the room would have air conditioning but it didn’t. We could’ve booked a room for like 10 dollars with air conditioning though. The room did have a fan though so it was fine.

This is an amaizing place to stay.it's bordered by a wonderful river.The owner and staff also very friendly.They arrange to us unforgettable safari in Udawalawe National Park.we could see many animals there.Rooms are very clean and food also supper.as i think this is the best place to stay in Udawalawa.

I liked the room, the nature and the owners are good people.

If you are planning safari tour try to go direct to the UDAWALAWA National Park there are many cars with drivers who are doing the excursions and you can pay a half price.
