Hideaway Lodge

Loved our time in Hideaway Lodge, staff were super friendly and such a lovely place to have some wind down time after a busy week travelling the north!

Not many restaurants and cafes nearby that were open/ well rated

Beautifull location, luxurious rooms with view over the lagoon but also very stylish wooden terrace for breakfast, overlooking the lagoon. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, The beach only a 5 minutes walk with a great loungebar.

The room and view on the lagoon were fantastic. A really wonderful location. Superb room, balcony and roof terrace.

On the first night the manager informed us that there would a party for his 10 year old son with music but that it wouldn't go on late. In fact the loud disco music went on to 5am the next morning and screaming children were running on our balcony at 3am. The manager put his sons fun above that of paying guests. He betrayed the trust of the owners to look after the paying guests. This was disgraceful and meant we had no sleep. He also set off fireworks at 2am and left the remains on the lagoon shore. The remains of balloons swam in the lagoon water fir days afterwards.. This is not how you make your paying guests feel they are being treated well.

The room was beautiful and spacious and I loved the private balcony. Being so close to nature and hearing the sounds of the birds and wildlife was so nice. Passindhu was so lovely and made my stay super special. He was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing!! I liked the location of the guest house and the peace and quiet. I look forward to returning in the future

The large, clean and clear room, the environment near the river, the highly comfortable bed, the large bathroom, the really kind and helpful staff
