Senja arctic lodge

The place is incredible, the house so nice and well equipped , Katherin the host is very sympathetic and be there for all what we need , you could get with extra jacuzzi, sauna with a amazing view

We were amazed by the size of the place, we thought it would be cramp with 5 rooms but it did not feel cramp at all for the 5 of us. The house has all the utensils you need to cook, do note the fridge does not have a freezer but no issue for us as we were there during winter. Unfortunately we only saw the northern lights for a few minutes during our 3 nights stay and a very weak one too, due to cloudy skies, low solar wind and bright moon. Nonetheless the surrounding area was beautiful and we had the balcony to look out to the opposite side Katherine was very hospitable and responsive. She took great pride in decorating her place with all the Christmas decoration, lighted fireplace, candle light to welcome us. Definitely a place to book!

The lodge was really cosy with plenty of space for kids to play both indoors and outdoors. Kathlin was very accommodating and answered questions on time. The view out to the lake was amazing and you could enjoy the Northern Lights from the comfort of the lodge.

Kathy was an amazing host! She was thoughtful and brought sleds for the kids and set up a Christmas tree and lit candles in the snow to help with the holiday spirit. She was easy to contact when needed and responsive. She even helped with suggestions for how to spot wildlife. The area is breathtaking. It was far to travel to but I would do it again!
