Great surroundings, renovated and very clean cottage, nice extras like kayaks.

It was more basic accommodation than we expected for the price, although maybe it's just that Great Barrier is expensive. A couple of things could have been better (again considering the price): A toilet separated from the rest of the bathroom, considering up to six people can stay. The pots in the kitchen were very scratched Teflon coated pots which really should be thrown out.

I loved the quiet space and very helpful staff when we had some questions.

Fabulous views and wildlife but needs a spring clean.

The photographs were misleading as they show mostly the main house and only a couple of the " Private Jetty " house that we were put into. The lounge seating area was uncomfortable. We had to clean the outside seats of cobwebs before we sat. Cobwebs were everywhere in the lounge area bathroom, which was outside of the house. The pillows/duvets need freshening.
