It was out of town but not too far.

Nothing it was great.

Loved the surroundings, rooms were very neat and clean, Riaan is very helpful and friendly. I found the communal kitchen, boma and braai area a bit inconvenient; luckily we were the only people using the facilities for the evening, I think it can be a bit uncomfortable having to share with other visitors.

The fact that there wasn't our own private fridge to our use in the room. The shower door opening was tiny and I was scared I'd rip the door off entering and exiting the shower

My stay was amazing, the property is lovely and quiet, just a few minutes away from town. The room is great as well as the kitchen, and everything is very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. There are many comments about the road being bad and while it is a dirt road with some bumps my little hyundai atos was quite capable and I would not say that a 4x4 is needed. Riaan was also great, and I knew he was there and happy to help with anything I needed. I will definitely be staying here if I go to potch again and would highly recommend Thorntree to others.

My only issue was the creaking of the bed, but once I was asleep it didn't bother me.
