The Tropical Koh Mook

Everything about this stay was incredible. The room and facilities far exceeded my expectations, but what really stood out was the outstanding service from the friendly staff. The food was excellent across the board—don’t miss the breakfast! They have a "secret menu of the day" that is a total game-changer. I loved every minute here.

While it’s close to the pier, the beach shortcut is a bit messy and tricky to walk. Alternatively, catching a bike taxi requires a trek to the hotel’s highest point via a very steep wooden walkway—it’s quite a workout!

Les moustiques peuvent entrés de tous les côtés dans le logement. Un homme de l’hôtel est entrée dans notre logement, sans qu’on l’invite à y pénétrer, pour insister que l’on prenne son scooter en location pour 250bath/jour.

The food was amazing. Breakfast was sensational. Staff were lovely. Rooms clean. Great value for money.

The beach front location is not what we expected and not somewhere you would swim with the rocky terrain and long tail boats which anchor there. Wifi was intermittent which proved problematic for us with working remotely.

It‘s a good location, not that far away from the pier (15 min if you walk). If you want to go to the village it‘s round about 20 min by foot, but if you want you can rent a scooter. The property is very clean and gives you some kinda jungle-feeling - I liked this ☺️ also the staff was really friendly and the breakfast was amazing!

There was a rooster directly next to / under our room that screamed nearly the whole night and it was soo loud, we could not sleep very good the three days. I think if we would have wanted, we could have changed the room but we had a great room in front of the sea so we didn‘t want to. You have to know (i don‘t know if it‘s in every room the same) that there is no AC, just a fan. For me this is ok, but my husband had big problems 🙈
