Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge

A fantastic, family-run ranch in Monteverde, perfect for families with kids looking for a peaceful vacation with beautiful mountain views. Beatriz was incredibly welcoming and super helpful with recommendations. Getting there is an adventure (4X4 drive recommended, plus brace yourself for a very bumpy road)! I loved the welcome basket!! Greatly appreciated after a few-hour-drive upon arrival in the evening. A mountain river-fed pool, a soccer field, delicious food, and coffee growing all around the place. We had a fantastic time! Highly recommended!

A very nice place to stay. The hosts are very nice and caring. They provided good instructions on how to get to different places and checked every day asking the breakfast time. The facility is also well maintained and has great views. The price is also great compared to others. It is important to point out that the location of this place can be good or bad depending on whether you drive a 4x4 vehicle. There is a short cut to town center taking only 15 min which requires you to drive across a small river. It shows as a "river with no bridge" on Google map. However. if you don't have an SUV or don't want to drive across the river, it is 30 min driving to the town center, which will be a red flag for travelers.

No tenemos palabras para definir nuestra estancia con el Rancho de Lelo. La familia que lo lleva es maravillosa, muy acogedora. Nuestros hijos disfrutaron jugando con los pequeños de la familia, así como con los animales de la familia. Las cabañas son amplias y las camas muy cómodas. El desayuno es delicioso y la ubicación es maravillosa para sentirse aislado del bullicio pero a la vez lo suficientemente cerca de Monteverde para hacer actividades. Un tesoro muy, muy recomendable!

We travel a lot and it was the most beautiful place we've ever stayed. It was like sleeping in a forest. Natalia was so very helpful with everything we needed.

Tout était parfait, l’accueil, la communication avec notre hôte qui a répondu à toutes nos questions, le service laundry qui nous a bien dépanné, le logement en pleine nature, le bruit des oiseaux, le succulent petit dej. Le logement est éloigné de Santa Elena, mais c’est ce que nous cherchions. La route pour rejoindre les centres d’intérêt est sublime avec la vue sur les collines verdoyantes. Merci encore à Beatriz pour son accueil.
