Lakeside Villa

The home is outside of town in the countryside. If you follow the directions that the hosts text you, it is not difficult to find. Once there, it is magical. The grounds are very extensive with walking paths around the small lake and through the woods. Yes, there are beautiful woods (forests) to explore. A beautiful arched bridge across the lake. It is like a Monet painting. The room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the grounds. The home is simply stunning with enormous ceilings, elegant double sided staircase and an enchanting solarium. The hosts are gracious and welcoming. We live far away or we would be back several times a year.

Steven and Vera has such a Beautiful place to Stay. You will not be disappointed. Wonderful people.

A wonderful place and wonderful hosts. The room/bedroom was neat and comfortable and Steve and Vera were very accommodating to our late arrival, as we were in Eugene for our daughters' college graduation. They also gave us a great tour of their wonderful house and garden the next day. Definitely hope to come back for another visit.

Absolutely lovely gardens. Our family gathered for breakfast on the back patio entranced by Vera’s mosaic. We felt like the wildflowers were blooming just for us.

We loved the setting - the lake, the woods, and the wildflowers - as well as the building itself. Our host was friendly and welcoming - and very interesting to talk to. My wife enjoyed playing piano in the music room. We saw a couple of deer on the property, too.

For us, there was no downside. It was a 5 mile drive to town, and very much like staying in someone's home, but both were fine for us - guests will need to be aware of these things, though.

Beautiful location. Friendly groundskeeper. Clean and quiet. The host would play classical piano in the afternoons and it was absolutely beautiful adding to the ambiance.

I didn't like that. I couldn't stay longer.
