I appreciate the staff's effort - staff was waiting for our arrival until 2 am!! :-O But still there is a long way to go to reach the west and middle european standards and approach of 3 stars hotels.

Description "two queen beds" means 1 queen bed and 1 fold-out couch. Paid breakfast does not include tea or coffee, either tea or coffee is paid extra. The paid breakfast menu is really limited with 4 different combos of ham, eggs and lard a.k.a. bacon. Only one person speaking a little bit english. No rubish bin in the room.

Very friendly staff, food is prepared on the spot, breakfast can be personalized to some degree, it's not the classical "continental", but for me it was ok. It's not a fully - fledged "a la carte" restaurant, the menu is somewhat limited, but I had no need for more.

It's not about the place, it's about the surroundings: Rânca is good for skiing and.... that's just about it, areas suitable for "just walk around" do exist, but are limited.

The staff is friendly and ready to help. Clean. We had breakfast, and it was good.
