wonderful location, very friendly and helpful staff, great food and excellent trips (hiking, elephants)

It was amazing !! The view from my room and from the restaurant was wonderful ! The food was also so good. Also, they help me to book a trekking tour with elephants. Everything was easy, the owner helps me when I wanted to go to the center. Thank a lot !

Staff were very helpful (this is a homestay), the rooms are fit for the purpose and are satisfactorily basic. The view and the breakfast were great.

You cannot walk to the accommodation as there are vicious dogs along the route. The accommodation owners were not particularly responsive to messages. There is no soap in the room bathrooms.

We had to change room 3 times because of equipment malfunction. We found cockroaches in the beds and in our bags (without having any food out) When we decided to move the mattress around after the cockroaches invaded the bed we realized there was an anthill right beside our heads (in two different rooms) and that it wasn’t clean at all) After ALLL that, the staff didn’t even compensate us and tried to make us pay the taxi drop off at the bus station I am all about eco lodging, but it is ecology that should prevail not economy. The shower end was linked right on top of the soil which means that the shampoo and everything else goes right into the soil, polluting the earth, I am only putting 3 out of 10 because of how cheap it was Otherwise it would be a 0

Basic bungalow in the middle of the nature, I’m sure outside of rainy season it would have been lots better. No option to dry wet stuff, not the greatest atmosphere around when we were there. But quite cheap compared to other stuff, but nothing fancy.

Rooms were basic but great, very rustic, quite, comfortable and good mosquito nets. Good food, lovely family.

All good but not for those seeking luxury

The views of the forest was wonderful Bathroom facilities worked well

- Mattress not supportive - I was getting bitten in bed - little nips throughout the night - window in room doesn’t close properly, no matter as floor boards n bed boards you can see through to the ground outside, boards are not sealed I mean. Mice, rats n other creatures can get through gaps n large holes between floor n ceiling in my bathrooms. - time to fix Rickety wooden staircase n in the wet can b slippery too if not wearing gripped shoes. - on arrival quick to sell me tours n bus tickets - change of behaviour towards me after they discovered I was booked on another elephant tour - I was actually booked for two nights, one night only with booking.com though, I left after the first night. For 50 cents more I am in a another hostel in the same area, lovely comfortable room catered by warm, friendly people.

The location is incredible. The view from the bungalow is beautiful and the surroundings are really quiet.

I didn’t feel confortable with the owner. We had an issue about the price charged which was different from what Booking announced. The vibe was a bit off. As we asked to leave our backpack at the reception during our trek, the owner refused because we didn’t book it with him. It’s quite an unusual thing to do since we had booked rooms before and after the trek. Last but not least, he gave me a dollar note from before 2017 which was impossible to use in Cambodia.
