Sigiri Sarilco Rock View Treehouse

Een gave unieke plek om te overnachten. Je mag gebruik maken van het zwembad van de buren tegen een kleine vergoeding. Zij regelde voor ons ook de safari en ze gaven ons veel tips voor de omgeving. Ontbijt is ingegrepen maar ook avondeten is heel lekker.

Je ligt wat verder van de drukte af dus eigen vervoer is aan te raden. Het is een echte aparte beleving om in een boomhut te slapen, je moet wel tegen wat kleine diertjes kunnen.

I can't expect more for this price. Houses are spacious and clean and the views from the house are beautiful. Breakfast is very big and tasty. All staff is very helpful. They organised for us tuk tuks and safari.

Garden could be cleaner

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and offered to make us dinner even though this is not listed as an option. The food provided was plentiful and delicious. The place was very clean and obviously cared for. Great view of the Rock.

It is basic, but great value for money. No A/C (but we did not expect there would be). It is a bit out of town, so be aware of this for evening activities.

A charming place surrounded by nature! The idea of staying in a treehouse is truly unique and adds a special touch to the experience. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a spotless bathroom offering hot water and good water pressure. Given the natural setting, it’s worth noting that you might hear animal sounds from the surroundings, and occasionally some might even make their way into the room. However, the mosquito net provided is very effective in keeping mosquitoes out. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view of Sigiriya Rock right from the window – absolutely stunning! But what truly stands out is the incredible service. The host was extremely helpful, arranging airport transfers and local tours for us. The prices for these services were very reasonable compared to other offers we found. Breakfasts were delicious and hearty, based on local cuisine, and there is also the option to have lunch or dinner, which we highly recommend. They have both a tuk-tuk and a van available for transportation, making it easy to explore the area. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality – we truly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful place

Wrong place on maps ,watter not funkcioning

The unique character of staying in a treehouse made this a stay to remember. The treehouse had a stunning view of lion rock and pidurangala. The staff were amazingly helpful, offered us reasonably priced tuk tuks to town and even further afield&even picked us up later. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and even available early in the morning. We even managed to use the pool of the hotel next door for a small fee which allowed us to cool down after a really hot day! There was so much wildlife around!

Keep food secure in your room as chipmunks might come in to steal it at night!

Exceptionally kind and helpful host, fabulous views, gorgeous decking area to sit amongst the chirping wildlife, at one with nature. Breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend, especially with older children. An exciting two nights where we really felt part of the local community.
