This is a lovely lodge in a magical location. Make sure to do the sundowner drive to really experience the Kalahari

Being in the middle of the Kalahari desert was fantastic. The units are stand alone and faced the feeding area for the animals. Our unit was modest, we had twin beds. The main lodge is small but functional. We loved the dinners under the stars. Our sundowner drive was really enjoyable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. One of the staff lent me a power adapter as I didn’t have the correct converter. The pool was small but clean and refreshingly cool.

The breakfasts were just ok. The room was pretty basic but functional. Aside from the game drive there isn’t a lot to do. I think you could do a private drive but we didn’t. Spoiler alert, the bushmen in the morning walk work at the property. Water is not really potable so you need to bring your own water or you will have to buy it at the lodge.

Nice location, observing the animals from the cabin was fun. The cabins are spacious and comfortable. You have a lot of privacy. The Game Drive with Bertus was a great experience! Highly recommended! Nice atmosphere with outdoor fire for dinner.

It’s a bit difficult to find the lodge if you trust your navigation system.
