The view is amazing and the quiet location. Communication with owner great - he was very helpful.

I don’t love having to make beds when arriving somewhere but it’s a simple cabin so to be expected.

We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time!! Although the weather was pretty lousy, we loved the cabin and the beautiful location!! We would definitely come back and recommend this place!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, uns fehlte an nichts. Der Vermieter war super nett, schrieb uns auch dass die Hütte früher bezugsbereit ist. Der Wasserfall in der Nähe lud einen zum baden ein. Dies war für alle ein Erlebnis.

Would have appreciated instructions in English on "how do" for operating dishwasher, stove, washing machine and heat.

Our stay was truly wonderful. The lodge was one of the quietest and most peaceful places I have ever stayed, and it was perfect for a trip with my mum. The space was beautifully designed, and the way the houses are positioned to capture the best light and views made every day feel magical, no matter the weather. The location was very tranquil but also easy to reach, and everything was ready for us on arrival, which was very much appreciated. The lodge was spotlessly clean, the facilities were excellent, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

There were only a couple of small things that could have made the stay even more seamless. Although we chose the option to clean the lodge ourselves, it would have been helpful to have clearer instructions and a few more basic items provided as standard. Essentials such as hand soap, dish soap, bin liners and a small supply of cleaning products would have saved us having to purchase these for a short stay. While all the equipment (like a hoover and mop) was available, a few extra touches like this would have been very practical.

Beautiful location away from the main road. We slept listening to the stream that runs past the property. There is an added bonus of being able to go on walks directly from your front door. If you want to see the glaciers, there are a few that are about 1hr 30 mins drive from here (highly recommended)

Do watch out for the bed linen charge. 200 NOK per person…. A little bit cheeky given it’s not exactly the cheapest place to stay
