Close to the beach, great pizza if offered and lovely natural surrounds

The location is great. Just 5 minutes by car from the water taxis to Able Tasman. Paul was extremely helpful choosing a hiking tour. He also offered us a self-made brick oven pizza for $25 each which was delicious and allowed us to stay in. The room is spacious and cozy. The kitchen had everything one needed. we liked the containers with drinking water.

The bathroom and the kitchen sink are detached from the room. This is stated in the description. This is in and of itself not a problem. But if one has to go to the bathroom at night or needs to quickly wash hands while making breakfast one has to cross the courtyard.

It's rare to find such a combination of cleanliness and elegance, but Paul and his place managed to achieve it effortlessly. The rooms were not only aesthetically pleasing but also provided a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I can wholeheartedly recommend Palms to anyone seeking a refined and comfortable stay. The combination of a helpful host, spotless cleanliness, and elegant rooms exceeded my expectations, making it a standout choice for accommodation.

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Palms and had a fantastic time. The accommodation is conveniently located right next to beautiful and quiet Tapu Bay and only a 5-minute drive away from Kaiteriteri where you can catch a sea shuttle to explore the Abel Tasman Regional Park. Its location is also a great starting point for a day trip to Golden Bay. The newly renovated unit 1 we stayed in comes with a big deck to hang out on and a well-equipped kitchenette. We felt very comfortable and cosy in the unit. We enjoyed using the jacuzzi at nighttime before going to sleep. The host Paul was super friendly and helpful, giving us lots of useful recommendations on how to make the most of our time in the region. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, Paul, we hope to be back in the near future!

Quiet location, well presented and clean with beautiful nearby beach.

Paul and Michelle are great hosts; very welcoming and provide lots of recommendations for the area and the whole of the South Island. I can only recommend this accommodation for nature lovers who are on a road trip, because you can hear and see birds, it is well located for excursions into the national park and there is an absolutely fantastic sunset on the small beach. Thank you Paul and Michelle for your hospitality and the valuable tips for the South Island. I really enjoyed my stay and talks with you.
