Special experience; the host gave us hot water pack for warming in the night which is helpful.

Booking.com seems not coordinating with host about the extra tax/commission, we were charged more than the non-tax price as the web page claims.

Lina and Leonardo are wonderful people and so was the stay with them in their floating hotel. The place is just breathtaking and worth every minute spent there. We only had a late evening and had to leave early in the morning so were worried if it makes sense to have a night on the lake - ended up on a romantic sunset boat ride towards the room as Lina picked us up, had a wonderful view from the room of the opposite hills and then very nice homemade dinner with the family. In the morning Lina made pancakes for us and with a foggy sunrise she dropped us back to the port. I recommend this special experience to everyone visiting Puno! Of course it's not a 5* hotel, but you will remember it 1000x more.

Be prepared for a freezing night :)

This was, without a doubt, the best accommodation experience I've had in Peru. The owner of the property is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere in this place is truly family-like, which made my stay even more special. The service was exceptionally professional, and the house owner takes great care of the guests. I highly recommend this place, and I will always remember the sunset on the termach

Lina and Leonardo know how to make you feel at homw, they offer you a very nice stay on their floating island in a private and well equipped room, with private bathroom. The night is a little bit cold, but the bed is warm enough thanks to blankets and to the hot water bottle, offered by Lina the evening before. They offer you also some pics in typical Uros clothes and they make you know the whole family, including a dog and a cat. Very good local dinner too and breakfast was full of options and good fruits! Before leaving, they gave us also a handmade gift, showing us how much welcoming a hosting family. Easy to chat with them on whatsapp, pick up well organized at Puno pier (included in the price). The day after we had to leave early and it was not a problem at all.

Nothing, very satisfied

Lina and Leonardo are great hosts! They picked us up at the harbor by boat, cooked us dinner and organized our trip the next day on lake Titicaca. Lina has a very sunny and bubbly personality and she is a great entertainer and business woman :) breakfast was also great and we had hot water bottles to keep us warm at night (since there is no heating). It’s very beautiful to wake up already on Uros islands and start the tour of the lake a little later (as to compared with starting in Puno).

Nothing to complain about, but remind yourself to bring warm clothes since there is no heating (and there might be no hot water). The toilet is not conventional, but very functional.

This listing should not be on this website. It is very misleading. The rooms were cold, humid, had no running water because it was so cold, no soap, no shower. The rooms smelled terribly. Once we were there we were stuck. There was nothing to do. We had to pay the owner to take us to see a culture event. She also wanted to charge us $11 per person to kayak. Our son got sick and we asked to be taken to the mainland but she wanted to charge us full price for staying half a day. We negotiated one room but then she charged us $69 extra for Booking.com fees and then fees for using credit card. So we ultimately paid $120 to stay is a wet, cold shack for a few hours.

The rooms had amazing views and it was very cozy. The family that runs the place was incredibly lovely and gave us all the support to arrange day trips in puno and to organise our arrival. Even though it was very cold when we arrived, they took great care of making it comfortable and the food was truly amazing. ❤️
