Kruger Private Lodge

KPL is located in the most beautiful place, with stunning views of the Crocodile River. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and made my stay remarkable. So much effort was put into making me comfortable. The tranquility at KPL provided such a relaxing time, and the atmosphere is great for anyone, wanting some time to unwind. The KPL team put in a lot of time and effort into making my experience unique and memorable. Thank you to the KPL team, for a warm welcome and a wonderful stay.

Wir waren eine Nacht dort bevor wir in den Kruger Nationalpark gefahren sind. Wir sind sehr herzlich empfangen wurden, Zimmer war top ausgestattet und wirklich sauber. Am Abend konnten wir uns noch länger mit den Gastgebern unterhalten die uns paar Tipps noch mitgeben konnten. Da wir in der Früh direkt um 6 Uhr am Gate sein wollten gaben uns die zwei noch eine süße Frühstücks Tüte mit. In allem wirklich herzliche gute Gastgeber in wunderschöner Lage mit direktem Blick auf den Fluss. Nur zu empfehlen.

A beautiful property with stunning views of the crocodile river overlooking Kruger. Food was delicious. Beautifully decorated and such friendly hosts.

met at car by manager on arrival. who was very friendly and helpful. Accommodation included breakfast, which was given as a packed breakfast when doing early morning game viewing. Can book dinner at lodge too.

Spacious rooms, nice common area, amazing view on the river. The highlight for us was seen the antelopes coming to your yard. Our special thanks to Don - the host of the lodge, who was very attentive to our needs and made our stay truly enjoyable.

La struttura ha una vista spettacolare sul fiume ed è curata nei minimi particolari con ottima cucina. Il personale è cordiale e Mr Don vi accoglierà con gentilezza e molta professionalità e potrete rivolgervi a lui per organizzare i vostri Safari e i vostri spostamenti con l’ausilio di altri suoi contatti.

Hôtel exceptionnel à conseiller. Nourriture très bonne, on a pris le souper et le le déjeuner (si des français me lisent le dîner et le petit-déjeuner) et tout était exceptionnel. On a été très bien accueilli par Donovan qui nous a aidé à réservé un safari dans le kruger ! La vue était exceptionnel et les animaux le matin qui viennent au pied de la maison ont rendu le séjour magique.

Seul bémol, il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude pendant une partie du séjour, ce qui est dommage sachant qu'on avait des bains à bulles dans certaines chambres.

This is our second visit. The setting is very special with great views over the river. Don and the staff made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful and informative. Rooms were very well appointed and spotless.

Roads to the property can be challenging so you need a vehicle with high clearance.

Kurz gesagt: Perfekt. Die Lodge war die beste Unterkunft unserer 3-wöchigen Südafrika-Reise. Ich weiß gar nicht, womit ich anfangen soll.. Das Zimmer war wirklich außergewöhnlich. Groß, sauber, Blick auf den Park und die Nilpferde. Ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett hält unerwünschte Mücken fern. Wir hatten Dinner und Frühstück in der Lodge und waren vom Essen einfach nur hellauf begeistert. Am außergewöhnlichsten war allerdings das "Personal". Don, der Host, ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. In der Lodge ist an alles gedacht: Ein Billardtisch, ein Schachspiel, Bücher und Infokarten zum Kruger und ein Fernglas auf der Terasse. Don, der gleichzeitig auch Safari-Guide ist (leider hatten wir keine Zeit, eine Safari mit ihm zu machen), kann einem jede Frage zu den Tieren beantworten und man spürt seine Leidenschaft zu seinen Beruf förmlich. Auch die Köchin, Trish, war super herzlich. Man hat sich wirklich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Mit etwas Glück tauchen auch Tiere auf dem Gelände auf. Wir hatten Affen vor der Einfahrt sowie Pumbas und ein Gnu direkt vor der Tür - wirklich außergewöhnlich. Wir kommen sicher irgendwann wieder!!

Stellt euch auf eine holprige Straße ein. Aber unser Hyundai i10 hat es auch geschafft. :)

Perfect View, Beautiful lodge with nice Equipment, Great food, super tidy and amazing and attentive staff who love their lodge and the animals around it.
