"Lovely place but if you arrive late in the afternoon dinner is a mission - it means going back into Clarens town."

Great location. Beautiful views of the mountains.

No kitchenette so after a long drive not possible to fix a quick meal and a drive into town on the gravel road is at least 20 minutes. That’s daunting. Breakfast could be better for a vegetarian.

The room and location are amazing. The views are incredible and the rooms are clean and modern.

Check-in, check-out and breakfast were not great. When we arrived the place was completely locked up and there was nobody to great us. The main reception area felt a bit abandoned. In a message we received earlier we were told to phone the person with our key. We tried phoning and messaging but no one came. Eventually someone arrived and showed us to our chalet. This was the same experience for breakfast but we Eventually just left without breakfast because we didn't want to wait any longer in the abandoned breakfast area. I have spoken to the manager about this so hopefully they can fix this for future guests but we probably won't be going back. There are too many other nice places in Crarens to go to, why risk it with this place.
