CORAM DEO SaltyWaves double en-suite rooms with sea views

The view from the rooms and dining area is stunning. We watched whales jump from the balcony all day long in October. The bed is comfortable, not too firm. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast there and they were all excellent. The staff were extremely friendly, overall we had a wonderful stay.

The pillows on the bed were a little hard.

The view from the rooms was great, breakfast was okay.

We expected our room to be made up on day 1, and it was not made up when we came back and we were not informed that we should make up our own bed. We made a request to open the water early as we were attending a wedding. We had to remind the facility several times to open the water. Worst experience was when the water was switched off while I was still in the shower. We were given less than 15 minutes for 2 people.

Location was perfect for what we had in mind. Wonderful view!!

Die Lage mit dem herrlichen Blick auf den Indischen Ozean ist toll. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen war liebevoll und frisch zubereitet, individuelle Wünsche wurden gerne berücksichtigt. Aufgrund der verheerenden Fluten zu Beginn des Jahres, war die Wasserversorgung zusammengebrochen. Leider scheint eine baldige Wiederherstellung der Infrastruktur nur eine vage Hoffnung. Die Gastgeber bemühen sich mit großem Aufwand um eine rudimentäre Wasserversorgung, fließend Wasser gab es jeweils morgens und abends eine Viertelstunde, Trinkwasser wurde in Flaschen bereit gestellt. Die örtliche Bevölkerung dagegen leidet extrem unter den Folgen der Flut.

Einige Möbel, auch die Badezimmereinrichtung, bedürfen einer kleinen Auffrischung, bzw. eines Ersatzes.

The location was exceptional. Enjoyed the views. The hosts were friendly. Although the water pipes were damaged in the floods and hosts had to fetch water from tankers and river, they made a plan. We did not regard this as an issue, certain guests might be unhappy about this.

we were followed by the local people when we walked on the beach. There were always eyes on us.

Heel mooi gelegen en het avondeten was er heel lekker. We konden zelf walvissen spotten van op ons terras. Ligt op een 10 minuten rijden van Hole in the Wall.
