We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at the African Flair Lodge. Alet was very helpful with booking our safaris and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The accommodation is beautiful and the private location inside the wildlife reserve didn’t disappoint. I would recommend this to any couple who want a private, romantic and unforgettable experience.

This place is beautiful, out of this world. Our stay at African Flair Boutique and Safari Lodge was so amazing. The place exceeded our expectations, I have never seen any place decorated like this place, perfect for couples, luxurious and very pleasant, private and peaceful. Good value for money, will recommend this place any day. It’s a 10/10 absolutely no doubt. And the host is so humble, helpful and very kind.

A well curated experience. The place is so well designed to the last detail. It is the best luxury boutique experience hands down. After being here everywhere else looks basic. The host is warm and if personalised experience is what you are looking for, this is the place. Service top notch, food and amenities world class. The open stars gazing room/balcony was a special surprise.

We weren’t sure where to stay in Hoedspruit, but the reviews for African Flair Boutique Lodge truly speak for themselves – and now we completely understand why. Our experience here was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into what felt like a serene oasis, with every corner designed to make you feel both at home and completely spoiled. The room itself was immaculate – spotlessly clean yet filled with thoughtful, personal touches that made it feel so warm and inviting. Alet, our host, is a truly magical soul. Her energy is pure, nurturing, and unforgettable. She pours love into everything she does – and it shows in every detail of the experience. The presentation of every meal was exceptional – beautifully plated, fresh, and full of flavour. Every breakfast was a work of art, and honestly some of the tastiest food we've ever had. But the real highlight was our engagement dinner, which Alet turned into something straight out of a dream. She designed the entire space with candles, flowers, and the most breathtaking layout across the property – creating an atmosphere that was intimate, romantic, and unforgettable. It was beyond anything we could have imagined. Alet also went above and beyond with organisation– from booking trips to Moholoholo, the Panorama Route, and a visit to the elephant sanctuary, where the journey back became even more unforgettable as we were lucky enough to see three male lions in the wild. A moment we’ll never forget. Alet even prepared us a full breakfast for our Panorama trip, beautifully packed in a picnic basket. She also went to the trouble of giving us some restaurant recommendations, all of which were absolutely delicious. Falling asleep under the stars on the top deck, listening to hyenas in the distance, and enjoying the seamless transition from outdoor adventure to indoor comfort in our own private lodge made this experience so unique.

OMG where do I even begin do we had the most perfect stay at the African Flair Boutique Hotel. From the moment we arrived we felt at home, the host welcomed us with so much enthusiasm and warmth. She gave us the greatest experience with her amazing hospitality, always smiling and making sure we are well taken care of. The place is absolutely stunning , from the entrance to the rooms, everything was so well decorated and well designed with a luxurious and modern style. The food was a cherry on top, always well prepared and with exotic. She organised the most romantic dinner under the stars This place definitely gives you more than what you pay for It was our mini "BALI" holiday with a South African touch.

Where to begin - I've stayed at my fair share of luxury hotels around the world but African Flair Lodge tops all of them. The huge size of the property for just one couple, the extremely unique and beautiful decoration, immaculate attention to detail and most importantly the hospitality is just unmatched elsewhere. From the moment you step into this property you can tell this is not just a commercially ran boutique hotel, this is a project that the host has poured her heart and soul into. The entire stay experience was so comfortable, so personal and sooooo special. I really look forward to come back!
