Alet was a perfect host. The accomodation is superb safe but in the bush. Incredible roof top bed if you are adventurous. Breakfast was indescribably good. Too good to be true. Nope! Worth every penny. We will be back

The lodge's location is a gateway to the natural beauty. The host (Alet) goes out and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, she earns accolades for her warm and attentive service, enhancing the guest experience. The amenities, the bohemian interior, including spacious room with open-air showers, are widely celebrated. The lodge's cleanliness in the well-kept room with private verandas, is highly commended. Next level of breakfast was served during our stay. Next level,next level next level,next level, next level My hubby and I cannot wait to do it again. We’re definitely coming back again in much warmer weather since we couldn’t swim due to weather conditions. It was freezing but we loved the place and everything nonetheless ❤️

Such a beautiful and well appointed property! Everything about it is special-the attention to detail, gorgeous artwork, super comfortable bed and linens, fabulous soaking tub, gorgeous grounds and pool. The owner, Alet, was amazing. From the moment she greeted us with welcome drinks she was the consummate host. She arranged an incredible and romantic private dinner by the pool one evening, had great suggestions and went above and beyond to help us find reservations for Kruger when we were leaving. And her breakfasts were fantastic! Incredible food and beautifully presented. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Staying at African Flair is a wonderful experience and a great place to base yourself to see the attractions of the region. This is one of those rare places where only videos or seeing the lodge in person can fully capture the attention to detail and layout of the lodge, photos just don't do justice to take it all in. The included breakfast is exceptional too and way better than anything you could find elsewhere in town. We don't often post reviews on accommodation that we stay at but this is an exception. Having visited all corners of the globe this is the closest we have seen to a 10/10. The lodge is roomy, well decorated and full of optional extras at your discretion to make your visit even more memorable. If you want to really cap off a memorable visit to the Kruger/Blyde River region, this is definitely the place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the African flair lodge. Host made you feel at home and it is extraordinary just amazing! I can't believe people don't like staying here. It's just beautiful and breathtaking and meanwhile relaxed. Host takes care of everything and really takes care of you! You won't regret it. You can even see the wildlife from your lodge (safe of course).

Dear African Flair Team, My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at African Flair, and we wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. She meticulously planned all our trips, making our time in the area absolutely hassle-free. Her personal touch truly made a difference, especially when she kindly lent me her own binoculars for our safari activities. This thoughtful gesture enhanced our experience tremendously. We also appreciated the convenience of the breakfast baskets, which allowed us to enjoy delicious meals even with our early starts. The Bohemian decor of the lodge added a unique charm to our stay, making it both cozy and visually appealing. The romantic dinner our host arranged was a highlight of our trip. The beautiful decoration and intimate setting created a memorable evening for us. To top it all off, the lodge's unique location allowed us to experience wildlife up close, as we had the amazing opportunity to encounter a duiker and even a giraffe right at the lodge! Additionally, the lodge's location is very close to Hoedspruit airport and many reserves, making it an ideal place to stay. On the last day of our stay, we had a luxurious breakfast at the lodge, adding a touch of elegance to our experience. Overall, the value for money at African Flair is exceptional. The attentive service and the host's dedication to planning everything for us made our stay truly special.
