Moreno's Adirondack Cabins

Location and fire pit.

It was fine, but the pictures showed different cabins.

Separate cottages, fire pits and tables. Air conditioning but windows easily open. Extra sitting room off of one of the bedrooms was a nice place to sit in the morning looking out on the woods with the windows open.check in procedure is simple.

Tabletop grill too small for 4 people. Kitchen sparsely supplied. No washcloths for shower. Bring your own coffee, the packets supplied are too small for a pot of coffee for 2 people. Filters were supplied although the wrong size but they worked. Most disconcerting were rifle shots that started around 8 am and continued until we left at 11. My guess is a rifle club but too close for comfort.

Staff was responsive and accommodating. Nice picnic area, quiet but close to restaurants, bike path and town.

It's just that the mattress of the bed was too soft for us. But, it's probably just us ;)

The owners tried charging a lot more than the TOTAL price on booking.com. they also went back and forth with me about the listing, because our cabin was short a third bed like advertised. I even took screen shots of what I booked, stating that the unit has 3 beds and that the TOTAL price was $665 which included taxes and a $30 cleaning fee. They tried charging me a whole $100 more for taxes, which was nonsense and they weren't understanding that I shouldn't have even had to pay the whole $664 because the unit did not have a third bed as advertised. They offered us another cabin the very last night which was pointless by then. The cabin also had a terrible musty smell when we got there, I was trying not to be picky about it but the fact an adult had to sleep on a small love seat because of false advertisement and I was still charged for a cabin that was supposed to have 3 beds. I will never book here again.
