Highlands Creek Self Catering Accommodation

The ladies/staff were friendly.

- it's much further from the City Centre; - the facilities are not as the pictures; - the rooms are not clean, some don't even have internet - the AC is noisy and barely works - the beds are not comfortable, we barely slept - the main gate is unattended. We stayed over 30 minutes, more than 10 calls and email to the contacts provided before anyone could talk to us and open the gate. We were already driving back when they finally picked up the phone. As it seems, the person controlling the main gate is not at the premises and barely steps foot at the premises. The staff have limited control over the main gate. Honestly, we only stayed because we were tired after a very long drive and the children needed a rest. I am definitely not going back and I don't recommend it.

The location and the swimming pool

The aircon wasn't working in our Bangalore. He Bangalore was riddled with spider webs. We asked for cleaning services and they came a night before we left. The entire week there wasn't any cleaning done. Lightning struck and we were left for days without wifi - no alternative arrangement was done.

The rooms Love and Hope respectively windows and glass door going out on veranda next to the swimming pool has no privacy when other guests sitting on veranda. Shared bathroom was not clean, and unpleasant odors were very prominent. 4 rooms shared this facility. I'm sure this venue will be OK for the less caring persons. Not for fussy me to who odors and cleanliness matters more than all.

We stayed in Aloe because we required 5 beds. We were alone, so that was great. It was open plan and big enough for us. It was fairly neat.

No wifi connection. The aircon did not work - it tripped the electricity. The wash rags and kitchen utensils and appliances were not in the best state.

Very beautiful place

The staff was beautiful, except for Leon who had a nerve to confront us as guests that why did we complain about the fact that we asked for an umbrella to the owners. It was too hot and we needed an umbrella in one of their desk in the garden. He told us that the umbrellas are broken and it's been over a year. How is it our fault that the umbrellas got broken by a storm they should have bought them over and over again. Leon was so angry at us for laying a complaint
