Good value for money

Shower head could do with upgrading but still worked good enough

Good location and off street car parking.

Stayed here 30 years ago and it was buzzing with great friendly staff. Sadly it is now rather dated as it appears no renovations have been done in this time. Staff absent and did not feel like a welcoming place anymore. Everything worked, just could do with a spruce up. Emails were also not answered prior to staying, not surprising as I as only saw someone at reception once in 3 days. Will not be staying again as there are newer better offerings just around the corner. I was a little disappointed not to be able to relive my fond memories.

Pas de place pour ranger et très peu de lumiere dans la chambre

Super Lage für das Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und das Bett sehr bequem

The location was good and the room was very suitable for use

When I arrived my room hadn’t been cleaned and there was no one at the front desk, the number for the hotel went through to the front desk so I had no other recourse. After some time a staff member did arrive and apologised profusely for the room not being cleaned, but it took another 4 hours for the room to be cleaned and fit for use. There’s also a confusing set up in the kitchen in that only half of it is actually available for guests, which creates tension and dramatically reduces the amount of cooking space it appears to have.
