I loved everything about Boekenhout, our cottage. Almost every situation was considered and what was needed was available and on hand. It was the perfect place to spend my 40th birthday. Bonus! A generous amount of wood was supplied, and the shop at reception had everything we had forgotten. A truly magnificent property, Renee and Ian were both incredible! This is the first property post Covid where the reality exceeded the expectations created by the pictures.

The hike was challenging but having the rock pools right at the end was a bonus to cool off. We enjoyed the covering outside our patio, it allowed us not to get too hot outside.

The outside seating wasn’t comfortable, we recommend getting a comfy outside sofa/ hammock.

Had such an amazing getaway, very nice stay and a nice hiking route.
