Lake Weyba Noosa Lodge & Kangaroos

Absolutes Highlight sind natürlich die Kängurus im Garten, ob beim Frühstück oder Abendbrot immer kann man sie beobachten. Die Auststattung war top zum selber kochen und das Haus war sehr sauber. Man konnte Kanus ausleihen und über den See paddeln, einfach super!

A very comfortable homestay, just a 5-minute walk to the river. Kangaroos can be spotted on the lawn in the mornings and evenings. I accidentally drove into the wrong driveway due to not carefully reading the check-in instructions, but the host was very kind and helped guide me. The backyard is spacious—it was a lovely countryside experience.

We wanted a rural setting but not too far from places of interest, and we found it at this lodge. The kangaroos were a bonus watching them free in their natural habitat. Lovely interior including comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a mini golf course outside just for guests.

Die Unterkunft ist genauso wie beschrieben. Etwas abseits, dafür herrlich ruhig. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet für einen längeren Aufenthalt (Küche, Badezimmer). Leider sind wir nur 1 Nacht geblieben, denn hier könnte man locker seinen ganzen Urlaub verbringen. Ein Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Wir hatten nur einen kurzen Kontakt mit dem Vermieter, aber dieser war sehr freundlich.

A little far away from the lake

A nature's hideout. Surrounded with docile kangaroos and native birds. Friendly kookaburra around, but secure your meats 😁 lake is a 6min walk, owners are generous enough to let guests use their kayaks. Kitchen is complete as well and can cook array of dishes. Campfire available and hanging grill to do barbies. Noosa heads around 20min drive. Old folks enjoyed the coastal walk and pushed their limits. Good thing the beds at the cottage are comfy enough for a good night's rest.
