Already got refunded, booking.com took this safety issues really seriously.

I made a booking for one adult and my 2-year-old child. The booking clearly stated ground floor and accessible, however we were given a first-floor room also the booking showed absolutely digested room on posture than we got. The door opened directly onto unsafe stairs (see photo), which is extremely dangerous with a small child. The room also could not be safely locked from the inside. There was a push-button lock, but the door could still easily be opened from inside. Above the bed there was a window that my child could easily climb to, and because the room was directly under the roof it became very hot, making it impossible to keep the window closed. (room that was on pictures when I did the booking didn’t have any window above the bed) Overall there were multiple serious safety risks for a small child. I raised these concerns with the owner, but they did not take them seriously and refused to move us, even though there were several keys for rooms whose guests had not yet checked in. I spoke to people arriving later that night who confirmed they had just arrived and were about to check in. Because I did not feel the room was safe for my child, we ended up sleeping in our car in the parking area. It was the last night of our trip and our campervan had already been cleaned for return the next morning. Guests kept arriving during the night, which repeatedly woke my son. It was an extremely stressful and unacceptable situation. Very disappointing experience and especially concerning for anyone travelling with a young child.

Location is perfect. Room was spacious, the area of the lodge was beautiful, in the middle of nature. The staff was lovely. Good quality for a good price.

The only minus for us was the shared bathroom/showers. It was not very clean.

Every thing was very relaxing, friendly, clean and tidy, excellent location, quiet and convenient to all attractions and township.

We had to leave.

Tolle Lage, nette Vermieter, gut ausgestattete Küche. Alles gepflegt und einladend. Betten sehr gut. Duschen und Toiletten ausreichend.
