Mook Bamboo Bungalows

The hosts were amazing. It was low season, so everything was closed They went out their way to ensure we coudl travel to and where we needed and made us breakfast every day

The bungalows were basic but enough for us. Being on Koh Mook in the low season (June) meant we were the only ones there. It was very (!!) affordable. We were collected from the pier and met by friendly faces. In the high season when everything is open, I can imagine this place is a serene haven away from the hustle and bustle. In the low season it's still great value for money.

We were drawn to these bungalows because of the high ratings and people raving about the breakfasts/food. Unfortunately because it was low season, the restaurant was closed. We were still provided with breakfast, a couple of doors down, but I wouldn't call it good (eggs on toast with powdered coffee, certainly no choices like other reviewers have written).

If you want luxury then this isn’t the place, but there was nothing to not like

Very peaceful place located in a beautiful garden. 5 min walk to Charlie beach which is the best beach on the island. The owners are amazing, very welcoming and warm people. Great breakfast and food at their restaurant.

Nothing to complain- clean - all you need and perfect beds

Host was extremely helpful and courteous. Breakfast was a nice touch.

No air conditioning fans just couldn’t keep us cool day or night. Accommodation needs some attention. Location is an issue past 7pm when the beach practically closed down. The location has minimal choices close by for lunch or dinner though you can buy these at the bungalow.
