LA CABAÑA FISHING LODGE

What a fabulous place this is! The lounge has the most amazing views. The owners Benjamin and Elisa were so welcoming and engaging and were extremely hospitable . It was very warm, beautifully and tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean and cosy, great comfortable bedrooms too. Elisa is a great cook and we opted to have the evening meal- it was excellent! Wish we could have stayed longer...but will have to return another year.

I highly recommend having dinner at this location!

Gorgeous location. Impeccable lodge and room with beautiful details. Elisa was an incredible host, the food was delicious, and it would be hard to ask for better views. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location on the hill. The house is beautifully build with lot of attention to details on the outside and inside. On the outside there is a large deck where you can relax and enjoy the stunning views. The common area inside is large and very nicely decorated. The room we stayed in was wonderful and spacious with a comfortable bed, a great bathroom and enough cupboard space for our clothes. There is a nice short walk into the woods to the waterfall behind the property . The hosts were wonderful and warm people who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The dinner was home cooked and arguably the best we had during our vacation.

We felt like at home staying here. We extended our stay here just to relax and plan our trip further. Benjamin provided all the info for our stay and gave us very helpful information about our trip through Patagonia. Elisa is just the nicest person ever, prepares delicious food with love. There's a path straight from the house to a very beautiful waterfall where you can sit down and observe nature. Close by is also a river. Rooms are very clean and cozy, and the bathroom is very nice with a great shower. We also loved the styling of the lodge. Lobby is an amazing social place to hang out with other guests. At our time staying here, there were two very interesting and fun fishermen from Chile who come here every year fly-fishing. If I would recommend this place? Definitely. A place where you enjoy and relax doing things you love (fly-fishing, hking, kayaking, rafting...).

The view from the lodge is incredible. It has lovely common areas. It's an excellent place for a bit of luxury when travelling along the Carretera Austral. Benjamin and Elisa are wonderful hosts.
