Yorkshire Lodge with Hot Tub

It is not a lodge it is a caravan. It is very misleading advertising. A rip off for the weekend in a caravan! We left early the bed was so uncomfortable and we were so disappointed with the fact that it was a caravan.

It was nice and quiet. There is not much more we liked about this.

We expected a lodge, not a static caravan. There were not a lot of amenities apart from golf. Our caravan was not ready on our arrival. It was way over price for what we got.

Lodge was clean. Very well equipped kitchen. Great location. Lovely hot tub

Myself (56) and my daughter (28) went for a chilled break. For a number of years, I've tried to find a quiet location for a chilled/quiet break, finally, I found this location, each area was like a small cul-de-sac so you didn't have passing cars all the time. The lodge was so comfortable, with plenty of room and a great place to chill. We used it as a base too, just 30 mins drive from York and approx 60 mins from Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Once we got to grips with the hot tub this was amazing, the only thing was others being able to see us, but to be honest, only a couple of others went past and there is possibly something in the rules about not being able to put up additional fencing or a privacy screen. We would definitely recommend these lodges and are considering returning next year.

There were plenty of helpful instructions on how to use the hot tub but as we'd not used a hot tub before we worried when the 'bubbles' wouldn't turn off - after a phone call to reception the lady explained that the light bubbles kept going to help circulate the water, she did laugh but so did we, she'd probably had the call before.

This was an amazing holiday we had so much fun and it was so clean and tidy.

Not all the jets worked well on the hot tub. No bottle opener for my wine so few more utensils would be good idea.
