Las Cotingas Ocean View

Staff was excellent and very attentive. Great views of Drake Bay. Onsite restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast and reasonably priced. Room was clean.

Many stairs to get to the hotel from the beach where most of the activities originate. Pre check in communication needs improvement. Was not as responsive as I would have liked for a couple of things that came up prior to our arrival.

Very close to the Arbour and nice view from the restaurant.

We got a room with no view and very close to reception so people were passing near by our little terrace. Be careful when booking as I was actually expecting a room like on the pictures. Just didn’t pay enough attention.

Perfect position right above the beach, with stunning view. Very close to every restaurant around. Clean and big room. Good breakfast. A very good price/quality ratio.

Everything was perfect — the service, the location, and the exceptional cleanliness. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is ideally located for exploring Drake Bay, with restaurants within walking distance and a phenomenal view. It’s also just a short walk to the dock where the boats depart every morning for all tours. Highly recommended!

Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable! La vue du restaurant est magnifique sur l’océan, c’est à cet endroit que le petit déjeuner est servi. Vous pouvez également prendre de très bons smoothies dans la journée! Horaires flexibles, très arrangeant pour nos contraintes liées aux activités. Le guide qu’ils ont réservé pour une excursion au Corcovado était un passionné, c’était exceptionnel! Je recommande fortement!

Very comfortable and convenient stay for two nights to visit Corcovado National Park. The staff were super helpful. The room very spacious, clean and very comfortable (a very large bed with memory foam mattress and pillows). Basic but served the purpose very well. Dinner (optional and a good price) was tasty and would recommend eating here for a casual bite. Whilst the hotel is up a few flights of stairs from the beach, it is easy to ascend to if you've a reasonable level of fitness (else the staff would help with baggage) - we didn't find the stairs an issue or challenge. The shuttle boat to/from Sierpe arrives/departs at the end of the beach nearest the hotel for additional ease (the Corcovado tours leave from the other end, which is a few minutes easy walk). The staff helpfully booked our transfers. Macha the dog is a cutie.

The only suggestion is the optional breakfast is basic and the price similar to the dinner. Else a convenient and comfortable stay.
