"Very good"

The cabin was rustic but comfortable. Kitchen had full stove and fridge and basic dishes and pots. The location was ideal; quiet but close enough to services and a short drive to Anza Borrego. The bar just down the hill was wonderful too; friendly and cozy, with live music and food on the weekend (Josie's Hideout). My cabin had a fun wood stove as well as regular heat. I highly recommend if you're looking for a Backcountry retreat.

I would have liked a reading lamp and some basic condiments but no big deal. They did provide coffee.

The location was great. it was a beautiful drive up to the lodge and it was a great cozy cabin. I enjoyed every aspect of it.
