Kern Riverview Inn

Great location right opposite the river and close to shops. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large. There was a cute outdoor seating area.

It was poorly equiped. There was a microwave, fridge, bbq and coffee machine but there was only two spoons, one fork and some plastic cutlery. The bbq was unstable because the wheels were missing and it was balanced on a pice of wood. I spilt some water on the floor in the room and when I wiped it up, the floor obviously hadn't been mopped for a long time, it was filthy and I had to get on my hands and knees to wash it. The walls in the bathroom and back of the door were covered in dirty marks, there were dead mosquitoes squashed on the wall above the mirror and blood stains on the curtain in the bathroom. It was all very tired and dated.

Beautiful property and room. Very easy check-in.

Neighbors were noisy playing loud rap music. The barbeque had a broken leg.

Room was very nice, and well equipped for an overnight stay.

There is no on-site check in, you have to call them when you get there to get code for your room which is great, but they should inform you of that on your reservation details.
