CABeautiful country hacienda with friendly staff. Only 15 minutes hike to rock climbing if you have the gear. Gorgeous gardens, with the room overlooking peaceful pasture. Nice hot shower. Delicious fresh breakfast. Fully recommended!
USCOCOHacienda el Castillo is strategically located close to Pasto City, making this beautiful place easily accessible. You can call a cab or just ride the local bus for less than a dollar. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is one located right at the front of the property that opens during the weekend. The hotel owner also gives you information about where to order food from the best restaurants in Pasto and have it delivered to you. The landscape is breathtaking. There is a cascade in the property. You can also go for hikes to some thermales located nearby. In the morning, you can see how cows are milked. The owner and Bibiana were very welcoming, making you feel at home. They shared hot chocolate with cuajada, a homemade cheese, with us at the foot of the chimmeny.
