La Chakana Lodge

The couple running this place are amazing . Very helpful. Lots of great advice and even gave us a big can of diesel to take on our road trip in case we needed it ( we didn't use it and the took it back with no charge)

Die Anlage liegt sehr ruhig und idyllisch am Rand des Dorfes mit einer herrlichen Aussicht. Jemina und David führen die Lodge sehr umsichtig und freundlich. Die Cabana ist großzügig, sauber, die Betten sind bequem. Das Bad ist geräumig. Im Januar wird es nachts sehr kalt. Es gibt einen Heizer und dicke Decken, die auch nötig sind. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig.

My dear friend Jimena was really nice and she made me feel at home. I learnt a little of Spanish before arriving to putre and she helped me learning it more. Breakfast on the second day was great. The first day was a little bit too small

Very nice private lodge. Comfortable and clean. The baby llama is too cute for words.

One kilometre to the centre of Putre is on this hight a little bit far

A set of chalets in the outskirts of Putre with a reasonable standard. Relatively spacious rooms with essentially basic but convenient setting (accommodating up to 4 persons), free parking next to each chalet, also seemingly basic but good and enjoyable breakfast, very friendly host and hostess.

Slighly detached from the city centre of Putre; probably OK for cycling but a little bit too long for walking in this high-altitude location. No problems if you are driving a car.

Accueil familial très agréable, bien situé avec une vue magnifique

Petit bungalow mais suffisamment spacieux, situé sur un promontoire permettant d'avoir une belle vue sur les montagnes; c'est simple, c'est rustique, mais c'est suffisant en particulier si on fait une étape à Putre; les bungalows sont tenus par un couple très serviable; le petit déjeuner tout à fait réussi est servi dans le bungalow qui fait office de cuisine et de salle à manger.
