Dambulla Tree House

Wir haben uns bei der Gastgeber Familie sehr wohl gefühlt. Gleich am ersten Tag organisierten sie uns eine Jeeptour in den Nationalpark für eine Elefanten Safari. Wir bekamen jeden Morgen ein leckeres regionales Frühstück, dass sich jeden Tag abgewechselt hat. Die Gastgeberin ist eine hervorragende Köchin (sie bietet auch Koch Workshops an). An einem Abend durften wir in den Genuss eines Abendessens kommen, es war das beste Curry, dass wir in Sri Lanka bekamen. Die Erfahrung, in einem Baumhaus zu schlafen, war auch einzigartig, in der ersten Nacht waren wir noch etwas verunsichert von den Geräuschen (man schläft quasi im Freien), aber nach der ersten Nacht haben wir uns daran gewöhnt und es sehr genossen, so nah an der Natur zu sein.

L'unique cabane est en pleine forêt et permet de se sentir intégrer a la nature. Lieu atypique qui correspond a l'esprit "routard". Le couple est adorable est toujours aux petits soins. La cuisine est excellente.

Le logement malgré un escalier tout neuf est un peu vetuste surtout la salle de bains. Wi-Fi seulement dans la chambre.

This was such a unique experience. The room is set high among the trees and was very peaceful. The hosts are extremely kind and attentive. They make you feel part of the family and will do their best to meet any requests. The food was delicious and plentiful. The hammock was a nice place to relax and reflect on the adventures of the day. I would highly recommend this place.

The stairs to the room need some repairs to give a better feeling of safety. The shower wasn't warm enough for me.

This is the first time for us to stay in a tree house. This place was very nice, with privacy and close to nature. We felt immersed in the forest with lots of wildlife around. This is a very comfortable place to escape from the city. The environment was clean, very functional, with a hot water shower, an electric fan and hair dryer. The host decorated the room nicely with flowers, welcoming drinks and amenities. The room has no a/c but was very airy. It comes with a mosquito net so we slept comfortably. At night we saw some fireflies as well! And the most important thing is that the host and her family were so nice and took care of us very well. They offered a lot of help to our transport and planning. Breakfast was included and dinner can be requested too (extra charges, reasonable and affordable price). Don't miss the Sri Lankan food they cooked! This is a really nice place to stay especially if you want to have some interaction with local people. Thank you so much. ♥️

It wa great sleeping in a comfortable tree house and being able to experience nature. The food was exceptional and prepared by the very knowledgeable host, who explained the ingredients and what they were good for. The hosts couldn't do enough to make my stay exceptional.

A bit tricky to find for some tuck drivers to find, but they were always able to work it out.

This was by far the most beatiful host we ever had! This Family made our stay unforgetable, the nature is very beatiful and the breakfast was so so so delicious! The Treehouse was very comfortable!!!

The host family was absolutely amazing and went out of their way to accommodate us - thank you! The breakfast was very delicious and diverse, Pradeepika is an excellent cook The treehouse is a classic open concept setup (no windows) and makes you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle surrounded by the noises of the nature around

The bathroom is functional but the shower could use some work as the water doesn’t drain properly
