The accommodation was really wonderful! Very kind hosts, great food, and the rainforest tour was super well-organized. We had many lovely conversations, and they showed us a lot. We were truly very happy there. The view is absolutely stunning, and the value for money is excellent. Hopefully, we’ll see each other again. Thank you!

Really charming 'homestay' style place run by very nice family. Our little house had absolutely incredible views over the forest. The hosts arranged our visit to the forest and the guide. Nothing fancy here, just simple,clean and comfortable accommodation. It's a bit hard to find but the host came out on this scooter and met our tuktuk driver who was lost, so all was well. I recommend staying here.

The cabin is situated in paradise. This homestay is on a working plantation overlooking a beautiful valley right next to the rainforest. The view from our room and balcony was breathtaking. The family grows tea, cinnamon, black pepper and also makes kithul honey. There are also other spices grown on the property. The family was so generous in showing us their plantation and answering our many questions. They arranged a modified tour of the rainforest to meet our needs. The food was delicious traditional food available at our convenience as well as complimentary tea. Wifi was great as well though with the sights and sounds around you, you will not want to be connected.

This homestay cannot be compared to other accommodations. There is no hot water but this is a small sacrifices to stay in this idyllic spot.

Great people, always willing to help but not pushy. Arranged a fantastic guide for us to trek into the rainforest. Beautiful views from the guest house! Affordable, tranquil and interesting. Would reccommend!

Nice view, cozy in the peacefullness on the edge of RainForest.

Hospitality in the end. They argued with our driver why are we staying at their place if we didn't take them as guides for Sinharaja Tour too. They were so angry because of it, they threatened the driver too and after breakfast when we checked-out and pay them, they also changed their behaviour towards us. They just went down to the road and didn't want anyone to help us with all the luggages. And the way from stay to the road is like 100m downhill. In our case even on slippery rocks.. So that changed our rating. Otherwise it was fine if You are not bothered of some small lizards, snails, etc. around or/and in the house. ✌🏽

The view was absolutely amazing and the perfect place to unwind. The room is great and has everything you need. The whole family is super welcoming and will help out with anything you need and the food is so good! Would highly recommend!!!

Beautiful views of nature and nice people.

Perhaps not a negative to some but worth it for people to know that this is very basic accommodation. As it isn’t a sealed building, lots of critters.

Location and hospitality of the workers is beyond exceptional. You cannot beat the views, and waking up to the beautiful jungle and forest right from your bedroom, or the dreamy fireflies at night from the balcony. Their home kitchen menu is superb, made fresh to order, and super tasty. We had delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options all tasty and satisfying. The owners also connected us with a great hiking guide in the Sinharaja forest who pointed out rare species, took us to waterfalls, and even prepped us so we would not get leeches on our shoes. This location is absolutely the best and we would come back again! 100% recommend to anyone considering visiting the Sinharaja forest. They are family owned, and extremely kind people.

Everything with the location was perfect! In regards to the Google route if you are driving yourself, do not take the "energy saving" route or the "shorter" route, as it will take you through some secondary roads that are not well maintained and could potentially damage your vehicle. Just make sure to arrive through the main road (Kolawenigawa Dombagoda I believe), and you should be perfect!
