The space is beautifully decorated and kitchen is well equipped. The rooms smelled lovely and were very comfortable. There's many places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Loved the boma and veranda. Loved waking up to a beautiful safari sunrise

We had to go to our rooms for the loo, would have been easier if there was one close to the living areas.

Everything was great! Great service and concern for clients!

The house is amazing.Love the design and plan. Showering out door was just awesome. The Kruger Gate is just 5 mins away.

Beautiful cottage in the bush, very tastefully furnished to a very high standard. The location is fantastic both proximity to the Kruger Park and to the Kruger Gate Hotel. Great birdlife and buck appearing from the bush occasionally. The host couldn’t have been friendlier and more welcoming. You can see a lot of thought and care has gone into this property. A highlight of our stay in the area! Will definitely go back !

We spent a few days at Rixile Kruger Lodge as a family, and it was easily one of our most memorable holidays. The lodge is right at the gate of Kruger National Park—literally a short walk away—so we could drive in the moment the park opened. That gave us a real edge. We saw almost every animal and bird imaginable, including rare sightings of leopard, cheetah, lions, hyena—and we even got charged at by two elephants! The early morning drives were the best, and being so close to the gate meant we were always among the first in. You can tell a lot of care went into the design of Rixile. The outdoor braai area, the pool, and the way you can throw open the sliding doors to create a seamless flow between the indoors and the extended patio—it gives you the feeling of being right in the middle of the bush, with all the comforts you could ask for. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and we loved that there were both indoor and outdoor showers. If you're not keen on cooking, you can stroll to Kruger Lodge for meals. Firewood was stocked daily for the braai and fire pit, and our best conversations happened around that fire in the evenings. We were a mixed group—our kids visiting from the UK, our son working in Joburg, and our nephew from university. It’s not easy to find a place that suits everyone, but this one really did. Clinton was excellent from start to finish. He waited for us after dark when we arrived late, gave clear directions, and checked in on us every day to make sure we were okay. His care and attention were deeply appreciated. Highly recommend Rixile to anyone looking for a peaceful, stylish base for exploring Kruger. We’ll definitely be back.

There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Everything from the location, design, and cleanliness to the service and thoughtful touches was spot on. If we had to say something, it’s that we wished we had stayed longer!
