The chalet was warm and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast at the cafe was great.

The traffic noise but I appreciate that this can't be helped.

Our hosts stored our bikes at Miller's Flat and drove us to and from Benger Garden Chalets at Ettrick. The Chalet was beautiful with luxurious fittings and everything we needed. We ordered an evening meal when we arrived, and this was delivered to our chalet at 6pm. Delicious ! The bed was very comfortable and warm, and the next morning we went across to the Cafe where we had the Benger cooked breakfast. Superb!

There was nothing we didn't like.

"A nice peaceful afternoon and night and a relaxing soak in the outdoor bath was very welcome after ."

The location was very convenient for us travelling from Queenstown to Dunedin. The breakfast was delicious and a huge portion and several choices. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautiful. The private BBQ and outdoor bath was great.

We were happy with everything.

Benger chalets are set in beautiful gardens which creates a very peaceful outlook. Our breakfast was available in the cafe adjacent to the chalet and our choice of eggs benedict was generous and delicious. We enjoyed meeting our host and hearing about the development of the this very comfortable, attractive accommodation.
