Very clean, excellent location, and thoughtful hosts. Fully equipped to allow you to prepare your own meals, if that is what you prefer.

Staying at Cottage Gram was a big highlight of our trip. Satoshi, Atsuko and Midori (who live next door) were so accommodating, offering to drive us around and book local restaurants etc. when we were not on the slopes. Really great location, about a 10 min walk from the nearest (+biggest) ski resort in Hakuba, Happo-one. The cottage itself is like something from a storybook, very very clean, extremely warm and young kids can have hours of fun playing in the snow or even sledding! Separate bedrooms and living/dining area too, and great kitchen if you decide to cook a few meals. Altogether can’t rate this place high enough 😊

Spacious, Clean, Warm and cozy for a family of 6. Midori and her parents are very kind and helpful. We are very grateful for them for giving us the chance to stay in their cabin.

This cottage was just delightful. Well-appointed, warm, and very comfortable. We were a family of 5, 3 older kids, and the space was great. The owners picked us up from the train station and were happy to drive us to the snow fields and pick us up. We had a bowl of fruit on arrival. Such lovely people and lovely accommodation. Our favourite in all that we stayed in whilst in Japan!

the house is a small chalet but very well organized. The interior is very simple and very comfortable at the same time. This is exactly what we were looking for. The house is surrounded by trees and you can't hear the traffic from the nearby road at all. We were there in autumn and the house was well heated. The house is very close to the Happo Bus Terminal station and a hike to Mount Iwatake is even accessible on foot from the house. Above all, we were very well received by Midori and her parents who were extremely kind. We would love to come back in winter because the place must be lovely in the snow.
