Quiet, safe & the food was really excellent. Chef knows how to prepare a rump steak.

Where do I start!!! The address on booking.com wasn’t correct, leaving the property before 7am was such a hustle, in fact impossible. We had to go to the staff quarters to wake them up to open the main gate - we waited for over 1.5 hours for the gate to be opened. On one of the days, it rained heavily, we were literally being rained on while in bed, our bags were socked by the time we woke up to move them.

Food was good

I know it's a forest camp, insects made our stay a little uncomfortable

I liked their food so much, it was the best. And their table setting for dining was good.

The wooden house was a disaster. There is abandoned Garage that was attached to the house and it was never cleaned for a while. All the dirty smells came to the sitting veranda and affects the whole house. The only good thing that can attract you about the house is the white linen and the mosquito net.

We really found the Rehabilitation Center quite interesting, a special shout out to Moses the Guide who did the Presentation, we enjoyed his humour and Presentation style. We found it refreshing that we never saw the cleaning stuff. every time we come back from breakfast, our room will be tidied up nicely. The general tranquility of the place, we felt like we were the only people there, well, as well as the animals 😅

Firstly, there was a rude person that answered the intercom when we arrived at the gate, no greeting, very abrupt in his responses..that was a very cold reception. We unfortunately do not know who it was, we asked Marko, and he just said it, "it depends on who's stationed there at the time" Odd response, but we left it at that. Secondly, this was more of a minor irritation - we have no problem with WiFi being available at the reception/dining but the area generally does not have network reception so we could not even connect with our own data. We understand it's a Tranquil Place to get away for the noise, but we cannot be totally unreachable, we have kids and parents to check on. Lastly, the twin bed situation was a NO!

The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and the dinners very much. The rooms were comfortable and we had good interaction with nature and animals. The lounge was great.

There was miscommunication in payment channels which soured our experience. The booking was made on booking.com but the establishment requested a deposit and we were subsequently charged the full amount by booking.com. The refund process to correct the overcharge is inconvenient and protracted.
