Nice and quiet and peaceful. Nice big shower Lovely view of the river Nag aapies in the evening a treat Wide variety of bird life Road to the lodge in good condition. My dog loved the stay. Friendly management and staff.

Suggestions: Maybe a bench or two to sit on next to the river if going for a walk. A table in the chalet to put your suitcases on would be handy

"Lovely setting but not much sleep was had!"

The setting was lovely and the place was clean and the Hosts were very friendly. The grounds are well kept and beautiful.

Sadly we never saw any Hippos which was the main reason we booked there. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bedding is very old. A bit of maintenance needs to be done for the cost of the stay. The road into the place was quite rough and one needed a bigger vehicle to get through to it. There is quite a bit of road noise there from the Trucks
