My Africa Adventure Farm

The location is great, this is what it truly means to be OOO!!! I would come back as this is a nice private gateway location. Never thought one would enjoy life without network, tvs or even phones but my stay was nothing short of joy.

I liked the fact that the animals are always roaming around the lodge so seeing them wasn't a hustle

La situation.

Absence d’accueil et d’information. L’hébergement se trouve à 25kms de l’adresse indiquée. On a été prévenu tardivement de la non possibilité de dîner en plus l’indication oú chercher à manger était flou (au bout de 20mn de route , on a fait demi tour). 4 œufs aurait fait notre bonheur mais on ne nous l’a pas proposé. La télécommande du portail de sortie était hors d’usage. Pour couronner le tout, le lendemain matin un bus de touristes venus faire du quad passait et repassait devant notre chambre avant de prendre des leçons de conduite. Vive l’écologie que l’hébergement met en avant. Les produits du petit déjeuner étaient de mauvaise qualité. Vraiment dommage car l’endroit pourrait être magnifique. Une agence de voyage n’est pas un bon hébergeur, c’est deux métiers différents.

Leuke locatie in een park waarbij de dieren vlak bij het huisje komen (wel achter een hek). Kleinschalige opzet. In het centrale gebouw zijn drankjes aanwezig die je kunt pakken en bij vertrek kunt afrekenen. De braai werd voor ons aangestoken. De quad toer was leuk (wel heel stoffig en weinig dieren gezien).

Highly recommend. The photos don't do it justice - the main photo on booking.com is washed out / over-exposed which made me feel a bit uncertain about what it would be like. But it's actually a lovely, well-kept place that seems to have been constructed quite recently. Everything works. Andy was very communicative by WhatsApp in advance of and during the booking. There are LOTS of animals around - including zebras, ostriches, giraffes and ?kudu. The ostriches and zebra came right up to the fence of the main homestead (where our accommodation was), which our kids loved. There's a lovely pool and some resident peacocks. Our booking included breakfast (which I hadn't actually realised at the time of booking), which was prepared by a very friendly staff member. We were the only guests in the main part of the homestead - perhaps it would be different if all the units were full. We had the place to ourselves and it was peaceful and enjoyable. While there are some Went out for an early morning drive by ourselves to look for some more animals. Only suggestion to the team is to work on improving the laminated map that they provide for self-driving safari. It worked OK for us, but I think could be enhanced / professionalised for a better experience.
